EUGENIO GARCÍA GASCÓN The deep political and judicial crisis has already caused tremendous damage and anxiety and uncertainty in a society immersed in the greatest crisis in its history. The damage is done and we still do not know if the hatred that is chewed in the country is irreversible or if society will be able to heal. The images of the protests taking place in the streets of Tel Aviv have only been seen in the occupied Palestinian territories.

FRÉDÉRIC LORDON Politics, in its emergency power, has taken over the country. A cloud of spontaneous initiatives has broken out everywhere, walkouts without warning, roadblocks, riots breaking out or just wild demonstrations, student assemblies on every corner, the energy of youth at Concorde, in the streets. Everyone is on edge and impatient in their legs, but not because of the nonsense that fascinates the Parisian thimble. The thimble is like the head of the pin, the journalists glued to Macron and Borne, as ignorant as each other of what is really happening: the boil.
XULIO RÍOS Chance (or not) has meant that the imminent trip of President Tsai Ing-wen to Central America, with stops in the US, coincides with that of former President Ma Ying-jeou to mainland China. In both cases, there is a strong symbolic charge, but it also highlights the political priorities of the two options that are fighting to determine the immediate future of Taiwan.
